About me

I was born on 08 April 1958, the son of a watchmaking family in Bad Langensalza. After school, I completed an apprenticeship as a computer and typewriter mechanic. After graduation, I began my training as a watchmaker and then acquired the championship title. Later, I took over my father's watchmaking company. There I deal with the sale of watches and jewelery and the repair of complicated watches. During my many years of work, I have gained a lot of experience. Some time ago, I relocated from Germany to Thailand and am now working for you in Chiang Mai, more precisely in the Doi Saket district. I have found that there is a large community of watch enthusiasts here in Chiang Mai who own quality Swiss watches and want them taken care of. I have had a number of Omega, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Jaeger LeCoultre, Roamer, Tag Heuer and so on watches repaired here. If you have a valuable watch that needs repair, please contact me. Repair of an automatic men's watch Laco Sport antique rarity from ca.1955

Very nice automatic men's watch with a sturdy construction. The movement with 25 stones was still in good condition. The bearings of the barrel, however, were worn and had to be repaired. A picture shows the work in the warehouse. The movement is completely disassembled, all parts checked and cleaned. Later put back together and restored the function of each component.
